I purchased the Kindle version since the price was more than half off the new hard copy price. The only downside I have found so far is that there are no page numbers available. Having no page numbers makes it more difficult to cite when writing papers. I have a Kindle Fire and do not know if it's the same for all kindle versions. This was the first textbook I have purchased for a Kindle and do not know if this is common or not.
In the description of the book, it states there are 621 pages. It doesn't explicitly state if the Kindle version comes with pages numbers.

This is a textbook for a Counseling Psychology class on Human Development. Like many textbooks, it's a bit wordy, they go over the same concept from many different angles, and of couse some case studies to illustrate the point. So IMHO it's a bit repetitious if you hang on every word. But having said that, overall it's well done, and thankfully well written (some psychologists are horrible writers!)
