Students preparing to take the Medical College Admission Test will value this set of flash cards as they brush up on questions typical of those that appear on the actual MCAT. The cards--with questions or concepts on the front and answers or concept explanations on the reverse sides--are divided into four sections: General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. Cards measure 4 1/2" by 2 3/4", and have a hole in one corner to accommodate a metal key-ring-style card holder that is included with the cards. The ring allows students to arrange the flash cards for study sessions in any sequence that suits their needs. These flash cards make excellent study aids when used alone, but are even more effective when used in tandem with Barron's MCAT test preparation manual.

These flashcards are great quality, and are heavy duty and durable to carry around. They also come with a metal ring to hold them together. The box that the cards are stored in is also very durable. The content on the cards is good as well.
I also have flashcards from Kaplan, but they are thin (think business card thin). The Kaplan flashcards actually came on 8x11 sheets, and I had to physically tear them apart myself. Huge pain!! I actually ripped a couple which is really annoying.

I'm taking the MCAT next month, and these flashcards have been wonderful in helping me prepare so far. I like to carry around one subject at a time so I can study whenever I get a few extra minutes between jobs, while stuck in traffic jams, when whatever's on tv gets boring, while I down my 4th coffee of the day, stuff like that. There's a lot of information on each card, but given the level of detail found in MCAT questions, I think it's a fair amount for each topic. These definitely shouldn't be your primary/only study tool for the exam (TAKE AS MANY PRACTICE TESTS AS YOU CAN GET YOUR HANDS ON), but they are incredibly helpful for review in between practice questions.
***UPDATE (AUGUST 2013): Use of these flashcards helped me get a 34. I cannot recommend them enough. That is all.***
